Preserving the Watts Towers: Mosaic Conservation Initiative

We are honored to be contributing to the ongoing conservation of the Watts Towers in Los Angeles, a globally recognized National Historic Landmark.

Materials Analysis and Structural Assessment in Los Angeles, California

Built by Simon Rodia between 1921 and 1954, this monumental site is a masterpiece of visionary architecture and complex mosaic engineering. Our current focus involves detailed material analysis, in-depth structural assessments, and the development of tailored treatment strategies specifically designed for Rodia’s unique mosaic structures. Through this scientific and hands-on approach, we are working to ensure the long-term stability and preservation of the towers, safeguarding their role as a source of continued inspiration for the local community and visitors worldwide.
